Cathedrals are usually "dark and dingy" but our Cathedral of St Patrick's is known as the "Cathedral of Light". Streams of light on a sunny Downs' day beam through the coloured stained glass windows, exuberating a "Sense of Hope" in the resurrection of Jesus.
St Patrick's Toowoomba is a spiritual Home. A sacred space of gathering for the faithful in Toowoomba and the Darling Downs, and to many who have passed through our city and our major local education facilities over the years.
The "Gathering Power" of St Patrick's goes beyond its walls - programs such as Care and Concern, Sacramental Preparation, St Vincent de Paul, our Parish School of St Saviour's Primary, Youth, Aged and Disabled Care, are the "quiet movers" of St Patrick's who network the power of the Good News of Jesus throughout the community.
